Mattel – Masters of the WWE Universe Series 6 Kane Review

Updated: Apr 22, 2021

Mattel’s Masters of the WWE Universe: Series 6. This wave also includes Goldberg, Stephanie McMahon, and a new version of the Ultimate Warrior. The WWE Universe line is exclusively available to Walmart and is currently on shelves at most Walmart's in Canada. Sadly, much like every other wave in this line, finding these action figures are very hit and miss.

WWE Universe Kane is a mix of WWE Wrestling Kane the Big Red Machine, aka Glen Jacobs and Masters of the Universe Roboto Heroic Mechanical Warrior. Jacobs currently serves as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee and is slated to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania week 2021. The WWE Universe Action figures come packaged on a retro-style card back with a Masters of the WWE Universe Logo at the top. Each figure includes a 2-page mini-comic based on the figures from that wave. In Canada these comics have no text to save on the cost of translation for the international market.

Similar to the Masters of the Universe Origins line, the WWE Universe Figures stand about 5.5 - 6" tall. They both feature removable body parts and 16 points of articulation. His arms and legs are direct repaints of Roboto, and gives Kane a robotic body look. Kane also includes a gun and claw with some red gunfire that fits the end. Kane's overall look is based on his early WWE career, more specifically around the time of his classic feud with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin that culminated at WWE title at Summer slam 1998.

The sculpt of Kane's head is newly tooled, and has his iconic Mask with brown hair that transitions into a clear orange effect to give that fiery look. Overall Kane is a decent reputation of the WWE Characters' likeness with some cool Masters of the Universe-inspired weapons. I can't find much fault with the figure overall, as it has a great look and color scheme overall a great figure in my view. Below I've added some Mashups with Various Origins and WWE Universe Figures i have Thanks for taking the time to read this review and check back weekly for future blog posts.

Kane borrows Trap-jaws robot arm, it looks good just has a odd angle to it on other figures besides Trap-jaw.

Kane, Roboto and Trap-jaw mash-ups

With the addition of Kane's arms gives Roboto a look based off his Vintage Masters of the Universe mini comic appearance.
